Ralf Zimmermann has been a partner, managing director and producer of Perathon Film GmbH since 2017.

 

At the end of the 80s, Ralf Zimmermann started his career in the film business and during this time worked for many national and international cinema and TV productions as a production manager and line producer. Also for Joseph Vilsmaier in numerous well-known Perathon productions such as Comedian Harmonists Brandner Kasper or Nanga Parbat .

 

Ralf Zimmermann realized his first film as a producer in 2001 for Senator Film with the drama peas at half past six , followed by several other productions as a producer, primarily for Glory Film GmbH, whose CEO has been Ralf Zimmermann since 2012. Among other things, the production Marie Curie    The dog buried  •  The disfuntional cat or The Tobaccoist were created here.

 

The previous productions of GLORY FILM have already been awarded six Bavarian film prizes in different categories and have been nominated in several categories for the German and Austrian film prizes.

Ulrich Limmer has been a partner and producer of Perathon Film GmbH since 2019.

 

Ulrich Limmer is a screenwriter and producer, he started his cinema career with the Oscar and Golden Globe nominated film Schtonk. After many years of working as a producer and author for Bavaria Film and Kinowelt Filmproduktion, Limmer led collina filmproduktion as CEO from 2002 to 2018. With collina he developed and produced films for the national and international cinema and television market, most of which he also acted as a screenwriter. Among other productions, he produced the SAMS films or the productions The end is my beginning or Fog in August and others.

 

His films have received several German and Bavarian film awards.

 

In 2013 he was appointed managing professor in the Production and Media Management department at the University of Television and Film. He has also been Vice President there since 2020.

Since 2017, Josef Brandmaier has been CEO and producer at Perathon Film GmbH.


In 1986, Josef Brandmaier took his first steps in the film business as a projectionist. From there, his path led directly into the film financing business, and he worked for over 20 years as an industry specialist for HypoVereinsbank and the UniCredit-Group.

During his time at the bank, he accompanied more than 650 film and television productions and developed, among other things, the standardized film financing structure trade-purchase for the Pro7-SAT1 group. As a financing specialist, he also worked for the MEDIA Program (later Creative Europe) and is a founding member of the Bavarian Bank Fund. Together with his team, he was supervised major Hollywood- productions such as Mission Impossible 2 & 3  •  Terminator 3  •  L.A. Crash  •  Whale Rider and others.

Since 2017, Birgit Rothörl has been CEO and producer at Perathon Film GmbH.

Birgit Rothörl has always been a film enthusiast and worked at the cinema box office in the Theatiner film theater during her studies. In 1986, together with her father, she founded Schubert International, which manufactures scented varnishes and delivers them all over the world.

The topic of film took a hold of her and so in 2008 Schubert International Filmproductions GmbH was founded, which has been involved in various film projects as a co-producer, including the productions of Maria, he doesn't like it  •  Taxi  •  Luis Trenker  •  The tobacconist and others.

Marius Ehlayil has been line producer at Perathon Film GmbH since 2019.


After graduating, Marius Ehlayil gained his first experiences in various internships in film production and distribution work over two years. From 2013 to 2017 he studied “Production and Media Management” at the University of Television and Film Munich.

While still studying, he worked as a freelancer for film distributors (Paramount, Universum Film) and joined wirFILM as a producer in 2015, with which he realized multiple award-winning projects such as Sooner or Later  •  Rule of the Assembly Line, at High Speed until 2020.

In 2018, Marius Ehlayil received the "No Fear Award” at First Steps and became a member of the German Film Academy.
